I am pretty sure that someone must have dressed up like Obama saying that he will make the USA desease free...lol. Don't know what should be his policy for ABCD (akhil bhartiya c****hua desi (all Indian f***ed-up desi) : it's a new one from the "American Born Confused Desi" side) like us in the USA but we yelled, screamed in joy with my other friends and celebrated the winning of first black president of America. I was thrilled seeing the celebration in Kenya : probably they are more happier than the American who voted for Him (cautiously I used capital H in him). Their celebration, our celebration in a victory of an US president! does this make any sense? May be sometimes things are not supposed to make sense! May be He knows! I'm wondering that what made our nation developing and this nation developed? Do the readers have any answer!
This is the weirdest situation in my life that I am feeling. Probably when you are far away from your close one then you will feel more for her. My country. She needs to make her people more pro, more workaholic (may be). Today I realized that we, the Indian people have a basic tendency to compromise in everything. We are happy what we have or what we had from our ancestors! That's why we are mediocre, we are average in everything. We have the best IT guys all over the World but do we have any inventor of Programming Languages. Did English ruler had broken our backbone? Did they make us believe that we are born to follow not make follower! If you ask any computer engineers in states who has intimated with some Indian IT co-worker he will undoubtedly answer that Indian guys have real depth in mathematics, their IQ level is above average. But why we are not inventing anything? Why we are lacking research? In India we don't have any research university! Very few iitians stay in their school for research! But sad to say that all 'Desi'es come here to find a lavish life a high-salaried job not to do research or to invent something! Are we still compromising our lives?
I remember when I was kid my dad used to say that try to adopt the situation and compromise if necessary! I bet this is not the case for every Indian but I am pretty sure that it's very common in Indian families to compromise. From our arrange marriage to our everything in life we do compromise. Probably this compromisation made ourselves very average: our needs are simple, our ambitions are average, our lifestyle are normal. Why we don't have an Architect like Hernan Diaz (http://www.xefirotarch.com/) ? Why we can't make a form with an unbiased thinking? I'm not appreciating his design but I am talking about the guts, the innovation this fellow had. Yesterday he came to my school for guest lecture. He is inspiring. He came from a developing country like India, Argentina. But according to him "it is what it is".....
